Bleah...could be better, but at least it's no worse.

Had a blood draw, last Tuesday, to see if the new medication combination has helped. Unfortunately, while my a1c didn't go up, at all, it didn't go down, either...it's still at 7.2, even with the lower morning and after dinner readings.
I might have gotten a little more lax, during the day...I might have to ask my doctor about an updated prescription for the testing strips, so that I can try to test during the course of the day...just to make sure I'm not being overly stupid. Oh, well...we've now increased the dosage of the Actose (from 30 to 45mg), and we've moved from the generic Metformin to the brand name Glucophage. While I think I might have built up a tolerance/resistance to the Metformin, the doc thinks it might be more of an issue of absorption, and that the brand name med might work better. Guess we'll see, eh?
