Well, so far, I'm impressed.
Picked up the Actose...I'm supposed to take it once a day, along with the Metformin, 2x per day.
So, since my morning sugars are usually very problematic, they suggested I take it in the evening.
Well, so far, so good...I had dinner around 6:30...at 9:30, my glucose level was 117.
And I had Chinese food for dinner.
I'm never that low after eating at the Chinese buffet...and I don't even eat much in the way of noodles or rice (if any, at all).
The doctor did note, too, that if the Actose works well for me, we might even ditch the Metformin, altogether.
All this just goes to the belief, which I have been holding, lately, that I've built up some sort of tolerance to the Metformin.
