In a follow-up to yesterday's entry, I got a call from Julia.
It seems a work order was being sent to the excavation crew to come out and raise the meter.
That wasn't so difficult, was it, Julia? Now, if you'd just taken my word for it, in the first place, and done this, all this nastiness wouldn't have been necessary, would it?
Geez!!!
Now, we'll have to wait and see just when this crew will get here to do the actual job. Wish me luck. I will tell you this, though...I originally called this in, a month ago. If they think they're putting me off, just because the work order was just put in, they're as sadly mistaken about that as they were about not raising the meter, in the first place.
