Game cancelled? Who cares?

Got a call, last night, that our game was off...the other team called to forfiet. Bummer...I was looking forward to finally getting two games in...finally, two hours worth of softball. Oh, well...the other team still needed me, so I played. I went 2 for 4, with two singles, a walk, two runs scored, and 3 RBIs (two of them on the first single). So, I'm now 13 for 16, with 10 singles, 2 doubles, a triple, 3 walks, 8 runs scored, and 8 RBIs. My three non-hit at bats were two fly-outs, and one grounder to short. Oh, well...I'm still over .750 for the year...I'm at .813, actually. In the meantime, my on-base-percentage is .842. While I was at it, I finally learned how to compute slugging percentage...I am .875. All in all, I'd say I'm having a really good year, so far. I don't play again, now, until July 13th, when we make up our rained out Mother's Day game. After that, the fall league starts August 24. I'm psyched to keep playing, personally.
