Nothing big to report, today. Shadow is walking a little better...she seems to be using her leg, now.
That's right, I didn't elaborate, yet.
Last Tuesday, Shadow underwent surgery to bolster a damaged cruciate ligament and to have some damaged cartilage removed from her right rear knee. She's spent most of her time, since then, holding that leg up while she walked on her other three...today, I took her for a short walk, and she seemed to be, at the very least, limping on it. I had to keep her in check, as she looked like she wanted to run. The doctor figures it to be at least a 4 week recovery...that's what I'm hoping for.
In the meantime, my thigh still hurts from yesterday's softball game. Luckily, I have Icy Hot and Tiger Balm to put on it...and I'm stretching it, just in case.
I'm still on call until Friday afternoon, and actually expect to be paged in a couple of hours. Fun, fun. In the meantime, I'm going to go lay down with my son, for a while, and try to get a little sleep.
Bill paying will just have to wait until tomorrow. More's the pity.
